Sea Urchin

Ate a lot of exotic food in Japan. In the list: Sea Urchins!
I have studied them, seen them but NEVER tasted them. They taste like, you won't believe it, MANGO!!... Didn't dare to try at first but, hmm, tasted one and it's actually quite tasty. It's super fresh too.

Five to 6 Sea Urchins cost JPY5,500 which is about SGD71.50! Never eaten this in Singapore but heard that it costs a lot more in Singapore. My friend SK said, "Why pay so much for 'mango'?" Chey...

Kobe beef

The yummiest beef I have ever tasted. Really melts in the mouth... Even comes with a certificate!

满汉大餐

If anyone of you out there going to Taiwan, bring back some of this '满汉大餐' 牛肉面 super delicious instant noodles to try. They comes in 3 instead of the usual 5 in a pack instant noodles we have here in Sinagpore. Different favours too, beef or pork, spicy or non spicy.

JH loves the 麻辣 one. According to her, she will add the whole 麻辣 powder pack. I just sprinkled some of the 麻辣 powder and got 'intoxicated'!

Homemade agar agar

Have not eaten agar agar for a long time. Last Saturday, I decided to make one.

Nothing taste as good as this homemade agar agar with all traditional ingredients: agar agar, coconut milk and pandan leaves. No artificial colouring is added. It is very nourishing too as rock sugar is used.
